Shining and flickering, an ethereal light;
A dancing green fairy, on the edge of the night.
A flare from the Sun with energy unspent
Plays out as Aurora in her final lament.
Purples and greens light up the Northern sky;
An elegant symphony played out for our eyes.
A mystical wonder, always destined to shine;
A gateway to another world, and perhaps another time.
Dance dear Aurora, like you’ve always shone
Crescendo-ing gaily until the sparkle is gone
And all that remains are the memories of your light;
Sleep well little fairy, until you return one night!
