It is a sad fact of life that people come and go. Sometimes through choice, sometimes not. Sometimes through death, sometimes through re-location. Sometimes you simply grow apart.
When people do leave your life, as they inevitably will one way or another, it can bring about a myriad of emotions; sadness, perhaps relief, numbness…. to name but a few. However, just because someone is not physically with you, doesn’t mean you can’t think about them and wish them well, wherever they may be.
It can be tough to re-adjust, and perhaps you really didn’t want to lose this particular person, but remember, you are not defined by the people who leave your life.
