We Are Home

Comfortable and inviting,
It’s where I want to be.
It’s where I go when I feel low
To help replenish me.
It’s safe, and yet exciting,
The place I love the most.
It makes me want to never leave;
To always keep it close.
It holds so much potential,
My favourite place I’ve been.
It’s warm and super cosy.
The place of all my dreams.
I love the way it feels
So familiar and secure.
It seems quite clear, what I have here
Some search a lifetime for.
And I can be myself here
Without pretence or fuss.
Some people call it home
But I simply call it us.

To see your 3ams.
You make me want to hold
Again, and again, and again.
You make me want to love you
And though I can’t pinpoint the cause

And my world entwines with yours.

With a feeling so intense.
You make me feel so deeply,
Of emotions and of sense.
You make me want to love you
And I’m keen to let you know
That you made me want to love you
And I’ll never let you go.

And while I may not shout it,

To never let you doubt it.

Where I’ll Always Be

I could never hope to find
Someone who fits me better.
I swear I made a wish and it
Was answered to the letter.
I hope that you feel just the same.
I think I know you do.
I swear I had a dream one night
And now it’s coming true.
You’re all I ever wanted
And you’re all I ever will.
My love in its happy place
And growing greater still.
As every day I spend with you
I see more that I like.
You could make the greyest day
Feel sunny, warm and bright.
You’re such a special person
And you mean the world to me.
So any time or place you are,
That’s where I’ll always be.
