Nomads’ Land
It was a popular tourist spot
that people liked to visit;
they were drawn to its quirks
and all the things in it.
They pitched tents and wandered.
They explored explored every part,
carved their names into tree trunks
and took the place to their heart.
The high season was busy
before they left, one by one.
The streets soon became empty
With everybody gone.
Investing in property
they’d never sought to do.
With no intention of staying,
they were only passing through.
Nomads Land is a poem about people who come in and out of your life, and relationships that don’t last.
