I can smile
at the memories
but I know in my heart
we’re destructive together.
We’re better apart.
Destructive Love is a short poem by Ms Moem.
Designed For Life
Be your own inspiration!
When times seem bleak or tough,
When you’re looking for motivation
Or proof that you are enough.
You trust your individual components;
Your eyes, your fingers, your brain.
You know those parts do what they’re meant to do.
See your whole being as the same!
Know there is strength inside you.
Know with each beat of your heart
That you can do what you are meant to do;
All you have to do is start.
Designed For Life is a short poem written by Ms Moem.
Wounded
To lose someone you love
Is to tear your world apart.
You step, when moving forward,
On the pieces of your heart.
You try to patch your injuries
To pull yourself together
But underneath your bandages
The cuts stay fresh forever.
Wounded is a short poem about losing someone you love, written by Ms Moem.
Never Forgotten
I think of things you used to say
And all that you would do.
At some point, every single day,
My thoughts will turn to you.
To lose you was a bitter wrench,
The pain cut to my core.
I cried until my tears ran out
And then I cried some more.
This wouldn’t be your wish for me
That I’d be ever sad
So I try to remind myself
Of happy times we had.
I know I can’t be with you now
And you can’t be with me
But safe inside my heart you’ll stay;
That’s where you’ll always be.
Never Forgotten is a poem written in memory of my Mum and Grandma.

Tell Me
Tell me all your secrets
Tell me all your dreams
Tell me where you came from
And all the things you’ve seen.
Tell me all the little things
That rattle round your head.
Tell me how you really feel;
Don’t let things go unsaid.
You can tell me when you’re happy
You can tell me when you’re sad
You can tell me when I wind you up
That I really make you mad.
Tell me that tomorrow
Will always be a brand new day.
Tell me that together
We will always be okay.
Then tell me that you love me
Tell me that you care
Tell me there’s nowhere you’d rather be.
Tell me you’ll always be there.

we
The middle eight
The interlude
The melody
The beat
The build
The drop
From folk to pop;
It makes you move your feet.
