Give yourself permission to follow your dreams. You don’t need an agent, or a manager, or to be signed up by some faceless operation. Don’t wait for someone to tell you what to do.
You can build your own tribe and share your passions with them. Whether you want to be a writer or a singer or a musician or a poet, the key to all these things is the doing; the writing, the music making, the singing.
Even if you are alone in a room, with no-one to read your work, as long as you are writing, you are a writer!
Your dreams shouldn’t be locked in the validation of others, even if your aim is to share your work with the world. Do what do because it is YOUR dream, and you love the process. Naturally, if other people stumble across your talents and enjoy them too, that is a bonus, but for the best start, be so in love with your dream that it is just for you.
Give yourself permission to embrace your craft. Learn it inside and out, backwards and forwards. Live your passion!
Today we have so many platforms available to us to be able to share what we do and what we love. From blogging to vlogging and all the social media platforms in between, there has never been a better time to get yourself out there.
Follow your dreams! Best of luck!
