A Rhyming Poem | Rise And Fall

Every great there’s ever been, any name you call;
Each had their own story, each had seen the rise and fall.
A journey they had travelled, with stardust in their soul,
Never letting any mishaps compromise their final goal.
You see, when you reverse it, when you’ve fallen; gone astray.
You’re right back at the bottom, it can only go one way.
So shoot towards the universe, you’re rising to the top;
Pausing to observe the sun, as the sunrise never stops.

Winning Potential – James Ellington (backed by King Of Shaves)

A man with a dream and determination on his face,
James Ellington is sprinting to become the champion of the race.

He’s ready at the starting blocks, with winning on his mind;
Primed with #hyperformance and all the courage he can find.

Focus is essential and competition is a need;
When he’s waiting at the start line, he becomes the King of Speed.

He’s doing it for Great Britain, for the pride of Team GB;
Shaving seconds off his record for the whole of the world to see.

So when precision and performance are absolutely vital
Get King of Shaves on side, and go grab that winning title!

Hold My Hand Mummy And Show Me The Way | Poem

hold my hand mummy and show me the way -poem by english poet Ms Moem

Hold my Hand, Mummy,
And show me the way,
So that I can go out
In the big world one day.
Teach me the basics,
And then let me learn.
Should I ever get stuck,
I will know where to turn.
Cheer me up, Mummy,
When I’m feeling blue.
I can always rely
On a kind word from you.
Dry my tears, Mummy,
When I’m feeling sad.
Let me know it’s okay,
And I won’t feel so bad.
Show me the sunshine,
And then set me free.
To be the brilliant person,
That you raised me to be.

Marital Bliss

From two considered, at points, obsessedmarital bliss
To co-habiting duellers, estranged, at best.

How does it turn from A to B
On the road past holy matrimony.

Once were cuddles, chats and plans
Now snarls, and stares and final demands.

Amidst the chaos of family life
You lose the lust of husband and wife.

Both too tired, cracks will form;
In a surge of passion, baby’s born.

Two years later, adults barely alive
Another pops out; will we ever survive.

Repeat that pattern, until you are bored
Or until you’ve had as many as you can afford.

Then think back with glee to day’s long gone by
When it wasn’t us, we or them, just simply you and I.

Missing Mum On Mother’s Day

If I had a missing persons list, she’d be right at the top.
If all I had to do was search, I know I would not stop.
If I knew that I could call her, I’d be dialling as we speak;
Instead she’s officially missing, and my life is incomplete.

If only there was a signal, from wherever the energy went
That though she is not with us, there’s no cause for my lament.
If I knew that I would see her, at another point in time
I would surely feel much easier about this missing mum of mine.

But no, there is no contact; just the memories of before.
And where my Mum might be, I cannot say, I am not sure.
Her absence will always be noticed, and we will feel bereft
But then I hear her in my heart saying “I never really left.”
