Theo Paphitis’ #sbs Small Business Sunday Is One Year Old!

Theo Paphitis sat tweeting, on this date, this time last year
Telling us, Sundays were typically, the day he came up with his best ideas.
He suggested his ‘Small Business Sunday’ and was met with a rapturous yes
And he said we should tweet him at 5pm, with the hashtag #SBS.

So on Twitter, at 5 exactly, I sent my first #sbs tweet
And was lucky enough to be chosen, as a winner, the very first week!
Being selected by a retail magnate, boosted my confidence no end
And by following the #SBS network, I’ve made some great contacts & friends.

6 months later I had the opportunity to go and meet Mr P
Which was a fabulous momentous occasion, and meant the world to me.
So thank you Mr Paphitis, on the 1st anniversary of #SBS
I hope that you’d agree, it’s been a complete and resounding success!

Would you like the chance to get your business in front of Theo Paphitis of Dragons’ Den and Britain’s Next Big Thing fame, uber entrepreneur & owner of Boux Avenue and Ryman The Stationer?
How do you fancy a possible retweet to his hundreds of thousands of followers?

Simply follow Theo Paphitis and tweet him a link to your business and a compelling reason to choose you, on a Sunday between 5 and 7.30pm.

He chooses his 6 favourites to retweet, apart from one week where he chose 7!

So get tweeting along with the best of small British businesses – You just never know! Good luck!

  1. Wow – can’t believe it’s a year already Amy. I remember the tweet and remember you getting a retweet from him. Doesn’t time fly? Nice to think so many people have benefitted in one way or the other from social networking. I think it’s fab.
